Why those shoes?? These are my trail running, power lifting, high fitness buddies (they even hold my ring for me)
Shoes can make or break you. I know that a lot of runners with plantar fasciitis get relief from proper shoes.
I used to pick all of my trainers based on the amount of colors and the design 🤣
2 things you might notice, the sole is low profile and the toebox is huge. I could write an entire page on why, but essentially the muscles in your feet need to exercise also.
1. If you have a giant heel and sole, you are essentially putting your foot in a soft cushiony box all day, kind of like putting them in a coma 😴
The musculature of my feet get a lot more exercise, and yes it may be uncomfortable for a little while at first because they are out of shape! It’s important that when you’re beginning a workout routine, for any part of your body, that you start out slow. I wouldn’t switch from huge heel trainers to low profile trainers and go on a 5 mile run 😱
When your foot muscles are stronger, you’ll notice that they support the rest of your musculature, joints, back, and posture.
2. The giant toebox is to allow my toes to spread out and provide adequate balance and purposeful movement. Think of a gymnast, are they wearing big shoes? They aren’t wearing any shoes at all, and they have extraordinary balance.
3. Your feet actually swell when you exercise, (kinda like everything else), which is why my shoes are just a tiny bit big. At the end of the day my feet feel amazing 😊😊
If you have pain, especially heel pain, see AJ and get to the root of the issue. Shockwave heals Plantar fasciitis completely, you’ll notice an improvement even after the first treatment.
