I didn’t upload this particular #selfportrait from the @museedartmodernedeparis because I can’t help but to feel a little fat in this one. But composition wise I love this photo and I also really liked the colors of the art piece. My whole life including right now, I was always told that my face is too round by adults and so when I see a photo of myself from this angle, I can’t help but to hate my tiny round chin and feel extremely self conscious about it. But recently I decided to love myself no matter what and to become healthier not simply for physical features deemed by society as beautiful, but to become the most beautiful natural version of me as possible, even if it’s not the ideal look according to the current world standards. We’re all beautiful in our own ways, and it’s time we loved ourselves.
This photo is taken prior to becoming meat free, so I did actually so happen to lose a lot of weight, but I still have a round face and I still get made fun of because of it... It’s just a part of society I guess, people have these opinions and they tell you what they’re thinking without stopping to think how mentally abusive or hurtful their words are. I want two things, one for young girls and even boys to stop being told their not good enough and secondly I want us to be the generation that stops saying shit like this to our next generation. #makeachange #yourebeautiful
