This week choose to make one small change that will improve you in some way. An all or nothing approach is so often the reason people never make progress in life; if I can't achieve perfect there's no point doing anything. . Perfection doesn't exist. Even if it did, the people you look up to didn't just jump to that point from a base level. They took small, incremental steps along the way. If you currently drink 500ml of water a day, don't worry about getting to 2L, work towards 1L first. If you don't train at all, don't worry about intense training 5 days a week, just get active a few times a week. Anything you do is more than you were doing last week. If you currently eat chocolate 7 days a week, don't cut it out, reduce it to 3 days instead. If you want to lose a stone forget about the bigger goal; just lose 1-2lbs each week. If you want to save €1000, focus first on saving €100. . Each little milestone builds confidence. When we aim for perfection we overwhelm ourselves, which invariably leads to inaction. This week, break it down. No matter how small it is, it's more than last week. It's progress. And that's what we're looking for. Rock climbing is like life. Each color leads to different route and different difficulties.
