♣️Big disappointment to be so close to making the money in the Monster Stack WSOP Event no.50 - Bubbled 70 people off of the money in this spot: (let me know if you would have done anything different, because i think i made a big mistake here)
🖐 $1,500 buyin Monster Stack: 6035 entrance field, 980 remain, 909 in the money ($2,249), 14 mins left of 1hr-long level (next level blind 5/10/10k big blind ante).
10-handed 4/8/8k level - LJ (new player, young pro, 350k = 45bb stack) open 18k, CO (new player, rec, 130k = 16.25bb stack) call, I (104k = 13bb stack) call with K♣️Q♣️ on the button.
Flop (74k) J♣️5♣️2♠️ - check to me, I shove all in for 86k, LJ fold, CO call with AJo. I missed and was eliminated.
Do I have enough fold equity to shove preflop?
Is there any merit to checking back the flop?
Would it be too insane to fold pre? (I’ll get a free orbit and will likely play 10BB stack when the blind gets back to me)
