Everyone thinks and talks about the downs of loneliness, is it odd to think about the ups?
I think there are certain truths that you discover about yourself, thoughts you would never think about usually when you’re alone. I think there’s a particular type of honesty that comes along, honesty with self. And however important that is, we don’t practice it enough with ourselves or others and it can act as a constant anxiety in the future. The realisation that you can never be truly honest with someone because you face trouble being honest with yourself can make you feel alone and isolated and no one would ever suspect anything wrong.
This picture represents clarity through loneliness, the head not held but spiked in the sky where it sees rays of hope. Among nothingness but itself and it's truths.
