Once upon a time this wild mountain goat strolled past my wide angle lens and it was one of the most thrilling wildlife encounters I could possibly hope for.
After a little bit of debate and a lot more research, we decided to explore Joshua Tree NP. It wasn’t “closed” after all. We were pleasantly surprised to find a very clean and orderly park. Thankfully, we didn’t witness anyone cutting down trees or vandalizing any areas in the park. Rangers are still working hard to keep the peace. If you are a ranger and happen to be reading this, I just want to thank you for showing up at such a crucial time. Thank you for protecting the park as well as those going there to enjoy all the natural beauty.❤️ . . Joshua Tree NP is a really special place as are all of the other national parks in our country. We are blessed to have these wild places to explore. We must respect the wildlife as well as Mother Nature and not take any of this natural beauty for granted.🙌🏼
Sunrise from artist point taken about a week ago. I left the house a little after 3am and got to tunnel view at about 5:30. I thought about staying since no one was there but after 20 minutes I decided to grab my head lamp and hiked up to artist point. There wasn’t as much color as I hoped but Yosemite never disappoints.
