Hallo ihr Lieben, ich habe mich schon länger nicht mehr gemeldet, aber dafür starte ich gleich mit einer guten Nachricht. Unser Küchenumbau ist bald beendet und dann werde ich mir wieder mein Essen für die ganze Woche richten. Mir mehr Gedanken darüber machen, was ich esse, mich besser fühlen. Ich habe mich, als ich meine Ernährung auf mehr Gemüse und weniger Fleisch umgestellt habe deutlich besser gefühlt und ich hatte auch das Gefühl, als wenn meine Haut sich ebenfalls besser angefühlt hat. Naja, seitdem, dass es die letzten Wochen nur Schnell-/Fertiggerichte gab, fühlt sich meine Haut auch nicht mehr so gut an. Im Gesicht bekomme ich wieder vermehrt Pickel oder aber auch, dass sich am Bauch und Hüfte wieder Fett ansetzt. Puhh. Da muss ich echt wieder ran "an den Speck". Zum Glück komme ich ab nächstem Monat in ein neues Fitnessstudio, wo mich eine sehr gute Freundin "quälen" wird. Mal schauen, wie fertig ich nach dem ersten Training sein werde. . . . Something I always have in the freezer is bananas. I can use them for nice cream, smoothie bowls or a smoothie. When I’m running to time smoothies are life!!! It takes no time at all to throw frozen bananas in the blender, some coconut water and I added some carob powder, but you could add frozen raspberries, fresh mango, peaches, Dates or papaya, whatever you fancy, or you can simply just have banana mylk. . . When you’re running to time, don’t use the excuse “I ran out of time!” Then instead make a piece of toast and a coffee for breakfast, this isn’t going to serve you. Grab your pre-frozen bananas out the freezer (tip: I peel them, slice them and freeze them in a container,) and enjoy a smoothie on the go. . . Yesterday I slept in by choice, I had limited time to get ready, due to the fact I always have things ready in advance, I made this delicious drink. . . Planning ahead is one of the keys to success on this lifestyle. 💕 . . Today’s a great day to eat fruit! 🥰

🍓🥦 𝐆𝐮𝐭 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐩 🥦🍓⁣ ⁣ It’s not hard to make a lifestyle change it’s just about changing your mindset which can take time.⁣ ⁣ Eating well is so important on so many levels but it doesn’t mean only eating salad; it’s about eating what makes 𝐘𝐎𝐔 feel good. ⁣ ⁣ My husband had to change his mindset as to what he ate because what he ‘liked’ or all that he knew was making him look and feel horrendous. He was bloated, constantly tired, headaches every day, gut aches, joint pain and the list goes on. The change in him since finding his new eating habits has blown me away. ⁣ ⁣ 𝗪𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐝? ⁣ It was hard....hard because it was a new way of thinking, eating and shopping but now it’s just what we do. We have found a few key, easy meals and great products that have made it easier. ⁣ ⁣ 𝐃𝐨 𝐈 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭? ⁣ Sometimes I do because we cook for both of us but sometimes I’ll cook my myself and the girls and he whips up one if his quick meals. He couldn’t eat the risotto I made yesterday because he has found he feels better off grains. I love risotto though and it’s filled with goodness for me and the girls so I eat it 😃⁣ ⁣ 𝗪𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐭? ⁣ He follows a paleo diet so no grain, dairy or preservatives - sounds hard but honestly it’s not. Really wasn't too hungry today after the excesses of last night so didn't eat until after 4pm. I always think if you're not hungry don't eat just because it has gone past a mealtime. So I went to the pub with my dad and had half a chicken with salad which was instead of the chips so I think I did quite well there. Then this evening I had 2 seeded thins with omelette and sriracha in as I was feeling peckish. So I have started to try to eat more plant based proteins...and this is one of my new favorite snacks! It’s an awesome way to get tons of healthy nutrients! I get protein, probiotics, and essential enzymes from the plant protein, healthy Omega 3 fats and fiber from the chia seeds, tons of calcium from the almond milk….and a little kick from the espresso powder. Winter BBQ salads 🥗 . . I love my plate to be at least 70% vegetables 🥬🥒. So when I’m asked to bring something green to a BBQ.. I’m definitely bringing a couple of options. . . I made a baby spinach salad with Pete Evans honey mustard recipe.. So good! I also made a roast zucchini and cauliflower salad with red quinoa. They both went down a treat 💚
