It’s my morbid curiosity that keeps me coming back here.
This rubble was once a 42 storey tower with a revolving restaurant/bar known as Cloud 9. There were little stars on the ceiling that shone. The Sheraton Landmark was built in the 70’s and opened its doors in 1973. It later became known as the Empire Landmark when it was bought out by another company. They closed their doors September 2017 — but not before I was able to get up there a couple more times for that amazing view. (Side note: I used to live in that tower in the background).
